Issues with Milk Tea

Philippines
June 17, 2018 10:32pm CST
My niece was at the hospital today because of the milk tea she drank the other night. It's either she has a weak stomach for it or there is something poisonous about the ingredients. That reminds me of an incident a while back. It was about another milk tea kiosk, the customer couple and the owner both died. They said it was something about the chemicals involved. Anyways, I have tasted the nestea version of this milk tea but didn't make it the way in this video did. Does this mean milk tea is only for the strong gut ones?
Milk lovers unite! For the first episode of ~Ina Tries~ I jumped into the bandwagon and tried Nestea's new milk tea! Is it a hit or a miss?! Find out! don't ...

Hello @Jessabuma I hope she should just avoid the milk tea from now on specially if it's from the kiosk.

Is your neice lactose intolerant? That can cause stomach upset if she drinks milk or eats milk products like cheese, butter and cream. Of course it could be what you said also. That the milk was spolied/sour.

Hello @Starmaiden I don't know what happened but it's better if she doesn't drink Milk Tea ever. I would know later.

In India, milk tea is very common. Almost all Indian start the day with milk tea prepared at home.

It's a lot more healthier and assured if milk tea is prepared at home.

Milk can be prone to bacteria if it is not handled in a good way. I have never drank that kind of milk tea.

Hello @marguicha now that is something new, now that's a good excuse for not to buy milk tea on the shop. Instead I would probably make my own.

Maybe she is lactose intolerant? Some people are not meant to drink milk because their stomachs can't handle it. She can still drink milk tea if the milk used is non dairy like soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk or mung bean milk.

It could be that she is weak at that moment and she drink some milk tea and trigger the stomach pain to occur.

Pasturized Milk is 2 molecules away from being plastic. And soda pop is 1 PH Level away from battery acid. Eat ice cream before you go to bed and see how blocked up and stuffy you are in the morning.

Well in India we regularly make milk tea also called as chai. Its excess intake can cause some indigestion but it is good in moderation. So may be the illness could be due to sour turned milk or may be bad quality tea leaves or may be it was overboiled.
