Nowadays we are so glued to our phones that we arent able to give time to our family and loved ones. An addiction to social media has made us their slaves. Online social platforms like facebook, instagram, twitter, snapchat are such mediums on which we constantly try to update our lives, so in order to give information about our lives virtually, human touch is lost completely. When is the last time we have had talks with our families without being glued to our phones? When is the last time we had breakfast, lunch or dinner at dining table along with family by really talking with them? If one day we just shut our phones down, nothing is gonna break loose. We can spend quality time with our family, friends and loved ones. Moreover can do different kind of stuff and the ones which really makes us happy and peaceful. Do let me know what you feel about it? Share your views and experiences

I think the situation you share is a worldwide problem. As adults, we can control ourselves. But it's different as a teenager. Many people are addicted to it.

@Rashnag You're right, my dear friend. But there are a few teenagers who are not interested in these things, only in mobile phones. I am a teacher, and I see such students at school.

Teenagers too can control themselves if they channelise their energy in other hobbies like dancing, painting, sports, adventure trips etc.

Though I have a mobile phone I hardly use it.Throughout the day i might be calling two or three pople at the most! I am not crazy about the video games and the social media. So I feel there won't be much difference to me if I keep my phone off for a day! Thanks!

I do not need to shut down my phone because I use it not more than one hour per day, sometimes even lesser than that. While going out of the house, I never carry my phone with me. While eating food, I never look at the phone. But it is true now that many are being addicted to the phones. There is no question of even keeping it down for a whole day because people are so much addicted.
