When I got home it was noon. I did not mow. I did get the things out of the car that we bought this weekend.
4 forty pound bags of topsoil, two bags about the same weight of rocks, and eight decorative bricks for the edges of a firepit. It made me tired.
Hubby came home, and I checked his application status for the postal job. It turns out I only got it about halfway done for him. We spent time working on that.
I am so tired I want to take a nap, and I think I shall do just that.

If you need a nap. by all means take one. Sounds like your car was loaded. Plus paperwork, you deserve it.

I did get a short nap later and it was helpful. Hubby brought home Arbys sandwiches for noon.

It was too sticky to mow. It finally rained. I will do it when the grass is dry.

I did take a nap. It is a hotter day today, but I will stay at home. It rained a lot last night so no mowing lawns this morning.

Yes, it was hot work. I did not open the bags of soil or rocks to do the tasks with them. It will wait. I had to rest.

It was before the day got to the hottest part. It had been waiting for a couple of days. Maybe in the morning I can go fill the flower beds, etc. Like I planned.

I do not discipline myself to "lift weights" but I can load and unload for a time.
