DRAGONfruit

My kid brother gave my sister these 3 pieces of dragon fruit and a piece of avocado. I, my son, and my sister do not even know how to peel these fruits, what should be eaten, or what should be the dip. Either knowing too if the taste is sweet, sour, spicy, pungent, salty, or tasteless. We know this fruit has antioxidants but we don't even know how to test if they are ripe or not yet. Have you tasted this fruit? How is it?

You have to cut the dragon fruit in half and scoop out the flesh. Then you can slice it as you like. It is sweet, the taste is halfway from a pear and a kiwi. You can eat as it is, or add cubes to a fruits salad.

I prefer the red fleshed dragon fruits over the white fleshed ones. The white fleshed ones are bland.

Dragon fruit has white flesh and red flesh. All you have to do is cut it into halves and scoop up the flesh.

i have seen the tree of this dragon fruit. there is a plantation in a town far north. these look like aliens from outer space because the branches are like cacti. but i saw the trees from afar.

I noticed that you are from Philippines. I thought dragon fruits may be one of the common fruits in your side. I am surprised that you don't even know it. Here dragon fruits are one of the common fruits. Sometimes I make a juice with it.

no, it is not a common fruit here. there are some lands with trees of this fruit. it is considered a special fruit here and not everybody can grow this tree. the more common fruits here are mangoes, bananas, and lots more, but dragon fruit, not everybody even tasted this.
