I'm a cheeseburger lover!

The 'new' IHOB

Usually when I want a cheese omelet with a side of pancakes I will head for IHOP but being a sucker for cheeseburgers and trying to be clever advertising I was following the IHOP is now IHOB and decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise it was good. First of all though I didn’t get it medium rare as I ordered it was medium and juicy! Also I had “The Monster” which is a double burger with white and yellow cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I love pickles but not in the burger and I love a thick slice of onion on the burger so first thing I did was take the pickles out having forgotten to tell the server and ask for that slice of onion as the burger came only with 3 tiny bits of chopped onion. It was sloppy, as a burger should be, and good. Also the price $9.99 comes with a drink and a choice of sides---I got the hash browns cooked on both sides as I like them crisp—giving you an option of as much of the side dish you want. I did have a couple of problems with the check as I was charged for the drink and I thought to be charged the same price for ice cream as I would have been for a shake was wrong but that wasn’t a big deal and my fault for not asking the price before I ordered. All together for $9.99 plus tax and tip for full service and a good tasting cheeseburger I would come to IHOB over a few other places I have tried recently but still it is IHOP for that cheese omelet and side of pancakes!

You have my mouth watering. It sounds delicious! I'm glad that changing the name, didn't change the quality.

The funny thing for me while reading this post is that I'll be eating cheeseburgers tonight for supper. It's something that I planned last night. I love burgers too.

Usually in a full service restaurant the cheeseburger and fries would go for $14 plus drink, tax and tip!

That sounds so yummy. It would make two meals for me. I haven't been to IHOP in ages and will have to change that soon.

We don't have IHOP over here, but I do like a good cheeseburger. A good one for me is a plain one - just burger and cheese. I love a cheese omelette too. (Good to see you here again Martin, though I'm not here so much myseld these days).
