A quite positive day. I was able to demonstrate to the 'training course' obesed agency that going on heir course would be pointles for me as I am unlikely to get the job at the interview that follows it due to the hours the company works. They agreed to excuse me from participation in the course itself. I went to the university to help a panel of social work tutors selecting uitable students for the courses starting in the Autumn. Of six applicants we interviewed we granted places to four. The heatwave continues. It was quite pleasant uring the day but intenely sweaty and horrible from the early evening onwards.
