DISAPPEARINGcursor

I am having trouble with the cursor of the monitor of this desktop. Several times the cursor disappears. What I do is I ‘shadow-slide’ the mouse to the links and click them, but then, i cannot correct a misspelled word because the cursor is nowhere.
It disappeared again a while back so I pointed the invisible cursor to the ‘shut down’, shut the desktop down, and restarted again. Now, the cursor is visible.
Have you experienced this?

I haven't had that problem, but I've had trouble with some of my keys. The ones on the left (q,a,z) don't respond so I have to use an onscreen keyboard for them, which slows me up considerably. Then for no reason at all they start working again.

@ridingbet Yes, that's what I'm doing but it's a real nuisance. It's been like this for two days now, I hope it comes back to normal soon. Otherwise I suppose I'll need a new computer.
I'm well thanks Ingrid.

hello, jabo, how are you?
when i use the netbook, i also have problem with the number 1 and the space 'bar'. that is why i also use the onscreen keyboard only for number 1 then i get back to the main keyboard again.

@jaboUK if you get a new computer, what will you do to your old one? the netbook here, i think, can no longer be fixed. number 1 is the weird key. hahah

I think yes, I also experienced that before. The IT just restarted my computer.
Just a while ago, from not using my computer for about an hour, it won't open by just pressing enter.
I restarted it and it won't still. I shut it down then started again. It opened.

i also restart the desktop if the cursor is not visible, my lady. sometimes too, the whole screen monitor is blank that i have to restart the computer. when the monitor is on, there is a reminder that the 'window' was closed not correctly and i am asked if the computer can restore the previous 'window.

@ridingbet If it works you do not need to reboot.

thank you. i asked my son why and he said, maybe it is the 'windows'. i really have no clue about the windows, so naive of me.
when he comes home this afternoon, i will ask him to do what you posted here. thanks much.

yes, i shut the computer first then restart it and the cursor appears. that is why whenever i leave the desktop, i switch off the monitor, because if the screen is always visible, the cursor disappears, according to my own findings. hahaha

Hi po. Yes, sometimes I do. It is like the cursor is playing tricks on you.

good morning, hija. yes, sometimes i have the weirdest idea that a ghost is playing tricks on me and it manifests itself by the disappearing cursor.
