Feeling Depressed Today

I haven't been working for almost 3 weeks now and it is killing me! 
When I had my accident, I called work to notify them that I won't be able to come in because I had a roll over collision. I was scheduled for the weekend, unfortunately, I cannot make it. I was told, "You know you would still get points for not coming in, right?" 
I could've been dead from that accident but giving me points was their concern? Did not even ask how was I doing? Did not even bother to know if I made it in one piece?
If I knew that healthcare is going to be this political? I am not choosing this field!
Then, I had a doctor's note for me to be able to get back to work, but I was told that the facility is a no-fault, meaning they do not accept any doctor's note. Basically, you are dying or missing a part of your body and bleeding to death, you must to come in or you will get points!
I am so discouraged! I want to give up but I know I cannot.
God help me.

There will always be politics in every work in different level. There will always be people who will treat you as employee. Sad as it is we have to accept the fact that for them, you are an employee and you have to do your job.
I hope you are feeling better now physically. Emotionally, pray and breathe. Relax and calm yourself. Be known that you have purpose in life why God gave you another chance.
