The rainy season brings with it ant season everwhere. I think they gather even at a drop os water. Any remedy to keep them away...

I use Notix powder effectively It is a mild insecticide even safe in the kitchen. I also use a moat for keeping sweet dishes

@amitkokiladitya A moat is an arrangement where water is placed in a try and on which a stand is kept where the dish where the sweet is stands No ants will reach there.

Buy borax powder. get quarter of cup of it and mix it with honey or any sweet syrup. Mix them together and let them dry. Once they are dry.... Spread the powder on places near the ants. The ants will eat the borax and feed it to their queen. All of them will die because it will dry out their organs. Once the ants are gone, keep your house clean.

Ants are my problem now, I usually have no problem with them, they come, I wipe them with a towel with water and soap, I have found that they start eating my cotton clothes. That's not nice anymore. I have decided to buy a spray and spray their trails and nests. They find many little holes in the floor panels, on the walls, between the parts of the wooden furniture... Now I can't sleep in my room because of the smell of spray. I move to my sister's room for the night, she doesn't live here anymore. She is married plus 1 baby :-)

@amitkokiladitya Some kinds do: we have black ants who eat other insects (unfortunately, the black ants don't eat the annoying brown ants), the brown ants eat many things, they are tiny and they can get inside boxes, they can make holes in nylon bags to eat what's inside them. They even bite me when I try to sleep, or when I sit on a chair.

You can try putting cucumber peel near them. Even the smell of mint leaves repels them

Think you need to locate the nest or at least the place where they emanate and stop them there, search and destroy.
