Happy July 11th and also Happy national Rainier Cherry day! Here is a little bit about why today is special. Well here in Washington State two red varieties cherry where crossed together to get this beautiful blush like cherry varity. I didn’t know there is different kinds of cherries but like apples cherries have different colors. Also today makes the hightbof Cherry season which is also another good reason to celebrate some cherries.

We love Rainer Cherries (oh but they are expensive here). I looked on the bag - yep it's from WA!

I buy cherries in a jar so those are like less then $5 that’s as close as I get to eating cherries
