We Got Rain

Good afternoon. This morning went well at the Y. Unlike yesterday, I did go into the fitness center, and with someone's help, I was able to work out on another machine, focusing on my thighs, knees, and belly. Also a few minutes on the elliptical. I didn't think I had done much, but after my morning nap, my legs definitely felt the workout I gave them.
I've been working on Thread of Evidence this morning, making changes, making certain all the dates are lining up correctly, and so far, so good, as I make necessary changes and adding details to the story.
In the meantime, we got rain. Though ten minutes with thunder, isn't quite enough for what we need, but it helps. We're supposed to get more through the afternoon, we'll see.

I exercise every day, I walk 100 ft to my mail box then back to the front door and that includes the stairs that leads up to the door ..... k, that's enough for me 
It rained here last night and came down pretty hard and even lasted for at least 30 minutes, what a shocker. I think this year July is going to be really wet. I'm becoming worried about the drought that always follows wet years, this is the second wet year in a row so I wonder how long the drought will last, last time it lasted 9 years, from 2007 to 2016 but sometimes they last over 10 years.

Droughts happen especially here @just4him so I'm not that worried as long as more people don't move into this area. The water table is pretty low and if more people move here there won't be enough for everybody.

My day is going well. I woke up and started laundry, loaded the dishwasher and checked on some glass containers I left soaking over night. I need to figure out the best way to remove some stickers from them as it appears that the water isn't making them budge.
I texted with my nephew whose birthday it is today and now that I am writing this, I am reminded that it's also a friend's birthday. I'll have to wish her a happy birthday after I've written this.
I wrote an article on textbroker today. The instructions were much easier and so I hope that it will be accepted. I'll probably read a little from a book I got. The Wily O'Reilly : Irish Country Stories by Patrick Taylor.
Oh and I would love to have some rain here.

I was at the gym this morning--barbell squats, sandbag-loaded reverse lunges, kettlebell swings, pushups, and squat jumps. My legs are already sore. Then my mother and I painted in the front room for a few hours. We just finished. I'm ready for a nap!

It was a nice sunny day here, we had to take our grandson Chris to an appointment this morning and after that, we took him to lunch. We needed to run to the hardware store for more deck paint, and that is about the extent of my day.

Yesterday all I did was unpack from my trip, I took a nap because Lily kept me up most of the night, read some, and colored some. Today I'm doing laundry. I hope to read some later. Tomorrow I will need to put my suitcase back in my closet. We had a little bit of rain. I like your cover of your book.

Nice you are having some rains. We are getting rains from two days..only in evenings and early morning.

That is good. In my place rains started from June. Now also we have heavy rains in the mornings and evenings.
