Suddendeath Poem: The fall of hope

So.... I know some of you miss me. Some of you miss this. So....I'm maybe ready to write again. You know the rules! You get an hour, and gotta use some conjunction of the following words: storm, wash, fall, bird, hope Long ago when hope fell down, the world kept right on turning. They’d no idea that without her, the skies would soon be burning. Ash and flame and hate and tears, on horizons storms be building, Despair and shame all painted up, and hidden behind fresh gilding. But somethere somehow somewhen Hope was reborn. Wash away the tears my love , again we are without Hope to guide us, We have to stand on our feet alone, against the words so treasonous. The birds they bring of hate and fear, there is nothing left to discuss. Without hope we must stand together, against the seeds of mistrust. And hope that somethere somehow somewhen Hope is reborn.

@Jessicalynnt you really were missed - with the recent loss of Koalemos it is great that you have returned to brighten our day

@JudyEv missed you! Yeah, I won't be on remotely as much as back when I did several pieces a day, but I'm going to try and be around a whole lot more, and do at least one challenge a month

storm, wash, fall, bird, hope I hope that the storm you have been battling has allowed you to wash away the woes. Has given you new hope. We all fall down. But climb onto the wings of a free bird and we fly again.

You are most certainly an inspiration to everyone -' Hope is reborn' is the ultimate statement coming from you as I read. Get well soon

Welcome back. I've missed seeing you. Very good poem. A lot of sorrow and pain, but a lot of hope as well. Let me see what I can come up with.

@Jessicalynnt I sent you a postcard, but didn't hear anything from you. So, I was hoping for the best, afraid of the worst. Things are going well. I'm working on my next novel to publish. Messed it up, so it's taking a lot of revision to get it straightened out and keep the story in tact. Other than that, my birthday's this week. I'm on a really good food program and have been losing weight. So far 30 pounds. I'm sorry you had a rough year.

@just4him It was a rough year, and my best friend that I'd finally made, pulled the friend breakup. Trusting is so hard, and then that? I kinda buried myself. My other friends have helped, quietly waiting until I realized I'd trusted the wrong person, that I had seen what I wanted to see not what she was like. They're all pretty supportive now, so many ppl losing hours of sleep so if I am up in the night in pain, I have some company somewhere.
