I'm losing it.

United States

All The Time now. It doesn't matter that I know I shouldn't lose it . I end up losing it anyway and then it takes me a minute to gather myself and proceed with my day. I know this bad habit I have is what causes me to lose it but I still don't believe it's my fault. Does anyone else throw their phone on a soft surface and end up covering it up with something else and "misplacing" it that way? I do and all the time.

It happens with me. Then I make call on my number from other number to find it. Sometimes I feel that everything should be fitted with this technology to find it when got misplaced. I misplace keys very often

I am lucky in that I have been able to find mine without calling it. The only other phone in this house belongs to someone very reluctant to do anything to help me.

@anamika161088 He has a condition that makes him that way. He can't help being the way he is.

Lucky You. My "command center" is my bed and that is where I keep my remote controls, my kindle, lots of pillows and blankets and my phone. It's rightful place is on the shelf beside me but it ends up on my bed most of the day where it gets lost.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I keep nothing electronic in our bedroom. My husband has a curious disease, he is sensible to the radiations of electronic gadgets. He gets headaches, so I keep nothing in the bedroom.

@LadyDuck I think it would be rather convenient to have a sensitivity to radiation on devices. It would certainly keep me from spending too much time online!

Not often, but once in awhile I hear my phone ringing and have to look for it.

@RubyHawk I do not carry a purse. I have one of those phone cases that have the slots for a cards in them. It also has a part where you can put cash.

I need to make it a habit to put my phone back in it's rightful place. I blame it on the fact that I am right handed and so I just put it to my right side. The place that I usually keep it is on my left.

@ScribbledAdNauseum My cell phone is usually in my purse but sometimes I take it out to text, otherwise I seldom use it. I use our land line when I'm at home.

I'm always losing my phone! It would be easier if it was an old fashion one on the wall!

I might just finagle something so my phone can be held on the wall. I have a shelf beside me that I usually put the phone on but it always ends up on my bed and lost.

@thislittlepennyearns Oh that's really neat. I could go for something similar. My window is across the room. There is a desk that sits in front of it now.

@Jessabuma There was once that I even accidentally flushed a phone down the toilet. This was when I was at work one day.

Are you thinking of going prepaid or postpaid?
• United States

@RasmaSandra Oh okay. I know I pay $36.00 a month for my phone from metropcs but it is a smart phone. I wouldn't go with Boost because they just aren't the best network wise.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I want a prepaid phone I think. It all depends on what is cheaper and more practical but I do know that I do not want a smartphone. I do all my work from my desktop PC.

I've never completely lost a phone before, thank goodness. However, I have dropped one down the toilet and watch it flush never to be seen again.

i always keep my phone in my right front pocket with my denim pants when i go out; otherwise, i place my phones on the table, and when signal is low, i put my phone near the window.

I keep mine in my pocket whilst out, atleast for the most part. I have been known to carry it because the phone doesn't fit in my pocket well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum so, why don't you buy a small sling bag for your phone and wallet. it hangs in your shoulder anyway.

I loose my remote all the time. My phone stays in the window unless I am using it. Because that is where I get 4G and can use it as ahotspot.

I stay in my room to use my laptop as it's the quietest part of the house and I am able to watch what I want to watch. My remotes stay beside me as well as my kindle. The cellphone is usually on the shelf beside me but I also tend to check facebook or read texts I've gotten and then put my phone on the bed by the remotes. My bed is full of folded blankets at the moment because I need to find a better place to put them. Just haven't yet. The phone usually ends up being somewhere in the mess of them.

My mother is always losing her phone. She always has to call the number to find it. For me, I have been losing time today. I was just going to look up to see if I can get some stuff on Amazon and time has slipped away.

I always say, everything in my life would get done a lot faster if I didn't misplace something every time I set it down! I lose my stylus pen all the time and it is literally right next to me.

I used to use a stylus pen but I kept losing it. I bought a cheap back of them on amazon. My friend texted me the last time I was in her car and I said "just throw it away as I keep losing it anyway."

I only toss it onto soft surfaces. I do want to keep this phone for as long as is possible.
