Yahoo shutting down its messenger service!!

Yahoo pulled the plug to its messenger service on July 17, 2018. Originally launched in 1998, it was one of the first services through which files and messages could be sent instantly at free of the cost, popularising the term ‘chatting’. I believe it couldn't keep up with the similar services of the next decade. Who among you were/still are it's users. Please share your memories.

It's been around for a while that they shut down the feature. I wish there's other site that handles chatting.

There are lots of chatting sites online but yahoo is a legacy

I still used yahoo messenger. This is a bad news.
