Frugal Shopping: Thrift Store 7-23

This morning after wrapping up what I needed to do at work, I stopped by my favorite thrift store. I didn't even look at the books or movies. I only went in to get clothes for work. I got three green polos, one is Land's End, one is Gap and one if Faded Glory from Wal-Mart. I also got a pair of Khaki capris, they are a brand I have never heard of. I got all four things for $2.14. Pretty good deal if you ask me. And now I have more clothes for work. Have you been thrfiting recently?

Thrift stores around here are a little more expensive than that. Certain ones charge store prices for donated clothes. You got a good deal.

some of my favourite clothes came from thrift shops. I've wandered through lately, but didn't spot any clothes I wanted.

a couple of my favorite t shirts came from this thrift store. I have a Bubba Gump Lieutenant Dan shirt that I found there, and a jaws spoof shirt that I got there as well. Its a great place to find tshirts.

I have never been to a thrift store. I ordered a bunch of clothes recently--mostly for work. Polos and khakis, a pair of jeans, and a workout shirt. Old Navy, UnderArmour, and Land's End.

I prefer to buy them at a thrift store because I get more for what I spent, and because I wear them to work. So they are going to get crap on them.

I thought so. I am probably going to go back this weekend. I meant to grab a couple DVDS at work today because we just got more in, but I forgot before I left.

Wow. You got some excellent bargains for your job. Well done because in a brand new shop it might have cost you 50 dollars. I am amazed that you got four items of clothing for just two dollars and fourteen cents. In England we call a thrift shop a charity shop. I looked around a charity shop that sells second hand furniture. I like to by recliner chairs and they had one there however it was sixty pounds. In town there is a charity shop that sells clothing for one pound per item. It includes items other charity shops haven't sold.
