So I was born and have lived a few times in my life in the actual city of Chicago. Most of my life I have lived in the suburbs of Chicago. I have always told people who ask where I am from that I live in Chicago. Mostly cause they would not have heard of the town that I live in. This way they have an idea where I live. Well, I am not saying that anymore. I no longer what to be bunched with all those idiots that live in the city. It has become the murder capital of the USA and I just read that is now the Rat capital of the USA. We all know that it is still a corrupt political place, as it always has been. Now we have some idiots that are blocking up major roadways to protest the violence in the city. They did this back a few weeks ago and blocked up a major expressway for almost 3 hours and well some might think well if it helps. Well it didn't help. The weekend they did it, they did it on a Saturday afternoon there was one less killing that weekend then the one before and the weekend following there were 3 more killings. I don't think it helped at all. How do you stop the violence? If I knew that I would help them out and let them know. Maybe get in these neighborhoods where all the killing is taking place and do something there. I don't know what but placing roads not in that neighborhood I don't think is the answer, protesting in downtown again not sure that is where you should be doing it.

If we all lived by the example of Jesus-bringing love everywhere we go the hatred and violence would stop.

I suppose that is true and maybe more people need to find jesus. I'm not a believer, but what I do believe is treat people with respect and kindness and you will get back the same.
