Diary Sunday 22nd July 2018
Ironic for someone not religious at all to observe a Sunday as a day of rest,but I did very little today. Laundry, shopping, some online writing. The usual gubbins.
Diary Monday 23rd July 2018
A lot of writing today and photo editing as I prepared my book's hopefully final draft for my publisher to check out.
Later I got two independent writing success messages. A story I wrote last year has just appeared in an anthology of short stories. I barely got over the delight about that when i learned that stories published in two poetry and story books from a writing group I used to be involved with have just earned me £10.00 in Amazon vouchers. Yay.
Diary Tuesday 24th July 2018
Voluntary work day today, helping draft some classroom material for social work students. Quite a long discussion. I treated myself to ice cream afterwards.
I don't know if my stories are as Wondrous as those in this song from Yes

@KrauseHome Don't be afraid to submit writings. Just accept that if rejecteds for any reason (and in most cases they don't share the reasons) you need to just keep going - a lot of writers give up if not automatically accepted but that is extremely rare - even some of the biggest writers you'll have heard of were turned down many times before their work was accepted

I am the same way, not religious, but try to rest and do as little as possible on Sunday. Congrats on the book, song matches perfectly for your new found fame.

Even if one doesn't think of Sunday as the day of rest, most of the time one is forced to rest. In my country, no government offices or department stores are open on that day.
