thinking of writing and self publishing my own kindle ebook, has anyone here ever done it, i would like some advice from someone experienced

I never did it but a guy I worked with did it and the last I heard he was on his 3rd book. I read it as I had it on my Nook. I never read the others even though I started the one. I should finish it. He said it was very easy.

@Santosvb That is exactly the way I am. I always think about it when I am out doing many things and when I get home and have time I am on either here or playing games.

I have never done it. But I have been advised by an author friend of mine, not to do it, if I want a publishing company to even think about looking at my book. Some companies frown upon self publishers. Others will not even think about you at your manuscript unless you have some type of work published. It is that catch 22, You have to know your genre well.

There are many good sites around where you can find great information on step by step how to have an ebook published good luck.
