Good Monday morning from this side of the planet. How is everyone?
It is the first day of the week but my son did not go to school. He said their principal informed them that they are excused from going to school because there is an activity and they are not part of the event. So my son is here at home encoding his students’ names and adding their raw scores for their first long quiz, of which I was enthusiastic to record them.
In this site, we get to know more about our co-users, so much so that we perceive each other as our true and real friends and neighbors. It is in how we present our discussions that make us closer to each other, virtually.
So, for me, when I say the newly opened mall is a kilometer and a half near our house, I hope you visualize it as such. When I describe my sister as someone who has an attitude and how I interact with her, I hope you can imagine me with how I discuss her here. When it is so hot outside that I sweat, I hope you can feel the temperature that I experience here. When our dogs shake their bodies after their bath, I hope you imagine them doing so. If I post that I pant climbing a steep flight of stairs in school, I hope you feel my emotions.
With this in mind, I hope you do not get offended when I answer your question if you “miss something” from my discussion. This will show that you are not aware of my life and my experiences. If you know some information about me, it is nice if you can connect this with my discussions. Asking me in a more gentle manner is also appreciated and not saying “I should grow up” since you are a newbie in this site, and then you delete your comment.
Now, “am I missing something?” Thank you.

How can people be so rude? I imagine very well your house, your life, I feel how you deal with your sister and I imagine your dogs shaking the water from their bodies and resting on the floor. If a newbie knows nothing of your past discussion, she/he should ask in a polite way.

@ridingbet I do not complain if people do not comment on my discussions. People are not obliged to read our discussions if the topic is not interesting to them. I only complain when people never reply to comments.

@LadyDuck we all have our freewill and we cannot force ourselves to comment on some posts that we think are not 'commentable". that is why i was irked when this user commented something as if she/he knows me too well. she/he could just skip my discussion and not comment so rudely.

that is what i did not like in 2 members. one whom i can still consider a newbie because the number of interactions has not yet reached 2 thousand, commented that i should not care about users who do not comment on my discussions and i should grow up. i responded by telling the user 'not to tell me to grow up', and then her comment disappeared, maybe the user deleted it.
the other one, the comment is still in my discussion. he is not always interacting with me so i guess he does not know anything about me.

I appreciate things you shared here; yes we know each other through the posts we shared, and we become online friends. When someone says things like that, just ignore him/her.

i actually responded to these 2 commenters. the one who told me to 'grow up', eventually deleted her comment and along with my response too. the other one, i believe, is still here.

As far as I know, you are a fine person. I have no problems with you at all. You share your life and challenges as they occur. Nothing wrong with that!

@ridingbet You should feel comfortable to talk only about what you want and feel comfortable about. Have a great day!

I don't know. Some people these days, they just think this is just another article or site. Or a place they can play grammar nazi on any one who makes a wrong grammar. Well, maybe not all of them.

hijo, it is not about my grammar that was the problem. i think the users who commented on me did not know even a fraction of what i shared here. my grammar is comprehensible, thank you, and i edit any errors in spelling in any of my comments when i read them back.
