Virginia water falls

I honestly didn’t know that my family lived so close to a water fall! On Sunday I wanted to take the kids a park that had water falls but the walk is a bit long for the kids. My husband got a great idea and took us out to a different national park that has trails and water falls. The park is big with lot of trail that are easy to walk and have lots of things to hear about. The kids liked the idea of becoming Junior rangers. We walked around for about an hour close to the station check in area. The kids had there little paper books that was give to them. The filled it out as best as they could for there ages. We told them this side of the river is Virginia and you see across the river is Maryland. Those people overs there fishing are in Maryland. Outside of the river we are not allowed down to edge because the currents are strong and people drowned. The kids loved it!!!
