Going through ALL my posts and sorry MyLotters!

I have been meaning to do this for quite some time now but I'm going through every single Discussion I've ever posted. I take pride in always getting back to people who comment in my posts but I do know that I have a few discussions that I haven't attended.
So just saying sorry to those who ever thought I was ignoring you or was a MyLotter who didn't return the favour. If you know me you would know that I always get back to you or if I have nothing to say then I at least read and "Like" your comment but sometimes my motivation leaves me. Which means I leave something for awhile. Sometimes a very long while! But just know that I will always be back. Even if it is a year later.
But still.... sorry!
So throughout my day I will be going through them all so I feel much better and complete getting back to everyone.
Do you answer everyone who answers you? How do you feel when someone doesn't respond back to you?
I'm not THAT bothered about it as everyone is different. I do find it common courtesy to answer those back who take the time answering you but not everyone will get back for one reason or another.

I always respond back to myLotters. If they take the time to comment to me, then I make sure to take the time to comment back to them!
And if I comment to you, and don't hear back from you on this site, well....I know how to find you on Facebook!

I try to answer everybody but I have probably missed a few over the past couple of years.
It is disappointing to see discussions which have attracted loads of responses but not one has received a reply several days later. This isn't the place for one-sided conversations.
Of course, it's different if there is a good reason, like illness or some other emergency.

@asfarasiknow I agree that it is disappointing to see certain posts full of comments with no replies from the one who started the whole discussion. I know I still have to go through mine to double check. I keep everything saved in my email so I know where I am up to.
And again I agree with you. I am very forgiving if a MyLotter has a very busy personal life or is sick. It's just the ones who constantly throw one discussion after the other without coming to check at all that bothers me. Up to them of course but I feel bad for those who took the time answering with the poster not taking the time to acknowledge them.

@asfarasiknow Yes I am thank you so much!
Not that I was dealing with any bad pains or any serious side effects, I'm overall feeling really good. I'm moving a lot better now too. The first week I was scared of moving too fast in case I caused myself pain or a stitch would bust lol ( never had stitches before so I didn't know ).

I try to get back to everyone but sometimes I've gone back to an old post for some reason and found a heap of comments that I've missed. Unless it happens a lot, I don't really notice too much if people don't get back to me. As you say, there are lots of reasons why this happens.

@JudyEv I have seen that too on my own discussions. It really confuses me because I answer / like every notification that I see.

I used to get bothered. Not much anymore. I do try to answer back everyone except the post I made about me being in bad mood or feeling low. That is because I recover quickly from a bad mood to normal so going back to something that reminds me of what put me into that kind of mindset is just serves as a constant reminder which I avoid. In such case, responses get unanswered.
I used to feel bad about not being able to answer and moreover not wanting to answer as it would mean revisiting a "dark post"
Now I feel that a situation that puts me into bad mindset isn't productive for me. So, why put me through that. So, I am not even apologetic anymore for not answering those because I am thinking about me. I am putting myself first.
Might seem like selfish and kinda showing attitude. Only I know how long it has taken to develop such an attitude. So, again not apologetic at all.
Nevertheless, I enjoy more visiting other members than stick to my own posts any day. That's not exactly a secret.

@Daljinder That is understandable! I know what you mean. I know that there have been a few discussions I have done where I will be there while I am still feeling whatever I was feeling while typing it out. But if people respond to it days later, I get a little knot in my stomach wishing it was all over and forgotten about. I do go and reply back as soon as I can so I can move on from it. I am very glad that you are thinking of you first because that really is what matters. I know you are kind to answer everyone back but sometimes we really need to think about ourselves.

@Daljinder No idea. I am glad Daz told him to get out. I wonder if she is a caring person but a little naive?
Not sure but I am glad nothing horrible came out of it.
What sort of horror games have you been watching Daz play?

@VivaLaDani13 I have even answered the sad posts back until recently. I left out two I think. I definitely did not answer all the responses on my last "dark" one.
Speaking of dark, I have been watching Daz going Ghost Hunting and playing horror games.

@marguicha That is fair enough! Not everyone can be here every single day. There are other things way more important than MyLot that needs attention.

No worries here . . . I am big culprit of not getting to all my notifications because I just can't . . . so more than a lot gets lost! I have been saying that I would go through all my past discussions, but that hasn't happened yet . . . and it's been how many years now
. I am trying not to feel too guilty about it (but I do) - we can only do so much. How have you been feeling?

@VivaLaDani13

Yah, I feel guilty - but then I get over it pretty quickly

. I do think we all have that understanding here - that's why the bulk of us get along so well
. Glad you are doing good! We are good too - just super busy - as always - so I don't get here regularly as I'd like to (with more notifications dropping because of it) - but well, that is life
.

@much2say I agree with you. A huge majority of us understand that MyLot does not consume every single minute of our lives. That we have much more going on that's away from our computers.
Though in saying that, I've also seen a small handful of MyLotters who complain of other's whereabouts. Like they can't comprehend that people do more than just MyLot.

@much2say I am sorry that you can feel guilty about it. I think as long as you try, and are a friendly person then that's good enough for me. To which I already know you are nice.
I have been good thank you! How about yourself?

most of the time trying to reply because i do not want to make feel that i am ignoring them but sometimes what happens that only single comment like i agree, you are right or etc i not reply it because there is nothing to reply in it but just like their comment so if they see their comment they get to know that i read their comment but if comment is long i surly try to reply all but when there are lots of responses then it takes a lot of time but try to reply all.

@VivaLaDani13 yeah sometimes we can reply the same thing to many people and it becomes spam so try to write different but it also depends on people with whom we interact because we know people from a long time so we have better understanding so we know there is something so not replying or we also know that there is nothing in reply so its ok with me.

I am a little slow to get back at times, but I DO make it a point to go back through all of my discussions and respond in some fashion or another. Right now I must admit that I am terribly behind though. It is what it is, and I honestly don't think anyone is going to hold you to the fire one way or another.

@VivaLaDani13 SOMETIMES it is beneficial to be a bit slow at responding on your own posts and strategic as well. Consider that you can put an old post to the top of the list of "most recent activity" days, weeks, or even months after the post has been posted and you will get new activity on that post...earning more. And I think a lot of members here frequent the "most recent activity" page more than any other page on the site when they are looking for discussions to read.
