I thought I could skip dinner.

At Claudia´s we had a very late lunch. So when arrived I came to the laptop, turned it on and thought I could skip dinner. It does not seem it will be possible. I am getting hungry. So I will do and eat something, even some small amount of food. I have heard that no one really slims down if they skip meals. It seems that our body needs food every certain amount of time. Have you heard anything about that?

@marguicha you have an eating window of 8 hours and then the remaining 16 hours, you do not have any food.

Yes, skipping meals is not the way to go to lose weight, you need to have at least 3 meals a day. It is important what you eat to lose weight.

@marguicha We are eating so little in those hot days. We had a shrimps salad for lunch and a slice of smoked salmon for dinner.

I eat when I'm hungry, which is normally about twice a day. I try to have a fruit snack during the day, which also helps. There are days when I have three meals a day, but it isn't often. I don't think slimming down depends on your meals as much as what kind of food you eat. When you eat healthy, you have a better chance of slimming down. As I've found out over the past year.

I think that my main reason for having put on weight (after being fine most of my life) is that now I lead a very sedentary life.
