It seems the female dogs are ovulating. The 2 small brown dogs Sydney and Chibi don’t have appetite and they are always running after Darna and Rio who are both female dogs.
Macy and Rio have their lunch in the kitchen after the 2 small dogs had theirs. So after the 2 bigger white dogs finished, they went out. Chibi wants to go out and often barks so I will open the door.
The picture was taken several minutes ago. Chibi stares at me and yelps. So I had to stand and open the door; before doing so, I took a snapshot of this small and older Pomeranian.
Our door does not have that small opening for the dogs to come in or get out of the house. It is good thing we have a screen door.
I wonder when the ovulation period of the female dogs will end. Chibi and Sydney should stop following the female dogs now and their appetite will improve.

hahaha. no, i don't think it is possible. the 2 brown dogs are small dogs, both Pomeranian. the female dog that Chibi wants is a bigger dog and he cannot reach the behind of either Darna or Rio.

Trixie, our mutt is already an old female dog and she is the 'mama-san' of the male dogs here. they can ride n her and she does not get pregnant.

@ridingbet Though dogs are no longer interested if they are no longer ovulating.

really? so, after 30 days, the female dogs are free to be mounted on and do not get pregnant? for humans, ovulation is always on the 14th day of the menstrual cycle and it is easy to compute for the ovulatory period.

i think the 2 female dogs Rio and Darna are in heat. Macy acts normal, so i don't think she is in heat.

@ridingbet Owners here are asked to neuter their cats and dogs to avoid unwanted pets.

we had 2 dogs already castrated. we are waiting for my brother for his response about having the dogs castrated. Chibi cannot impregnate a female anymore, Zeus is already done, so it will be Jordan, Paris, and Xander who needs to be castrated.
