It is a sunny Monday though gloomy today, and I am alone in the living room since my son left for school at 7 AM. How is everybody?
I watch TV when something interesting is being shown, and right now, Quantico is finished and I am on CSI Miami. Prior to that, our land line phone rang twice and the caller wanted a certain doctor. I had to tell her this is a residential house and not a clinic of Dr. CC.
Then suddenly, I smelled the scent of a lighted candle. Since my sister lit 2 candles yesterday for my mother (+) and my father(+), I wondered who among our departed relatives are making their presence known to us right now.
Then CSI Miami episode showed a dead man who arose from the stretcher and the actor ran fast away from the room.
I am not scared though. Maybe these are just coincidences. But do you associate the scent of a burnt candle with the soul of anybody who is deceased, who wants to let you feel his/her presence?

that is true. do you therefore believe that souls or spirits of the departed roam around? hahaha

Yes Ate we associate that smell to a soul... I experienced that before in my room. I smelled it then I just ignored it because me and my mother were going to the market. The only one left at home was my sister in law who was also preparing to go to my niece's school.
We met her along the road as we were going home, my sister in law said she thought I was in my room because she heard somebody was walking there upstairs. We told her nobody's there...

i have always known you to have the third eye hija, same is true with your mother. remember in bubblews where we had some posts related to the third eye. if your sister-in-law can also hear unknown sounds in your house, then maybe she also has the third eye. not everybody can sense a wandering soul.

i think it is in our custom and tradition to believe that the scents of burnt candles, flowers, and perfumes of the departed mean they are near us
