We start discussions on mylot. Our discussions receive responses.Responses receive comments.Initiators of discussions comment back on comments. This continues and a thread is created.
Do you have any user here who is interested in continuing interaction with you and create a thread in the process?
I have a couple of such users. And you?

I think we all have a few friends here who help to take the discussion thread forward.

@arunima25 I agree. But mostly when you respond to a discussion, the initiator of the discussion comments back and that's all,the story ends there.

@Shivram59 There are some who kill the thread premature with replies like thanks for sharing and a like. I don't like that.

@arunima25 I agree. There are users who go on commenting back with 'thanks' only. This is not interaction.

@Jlyn10 No problem. We all have a lot of other works to do other than interacting on this platform. We all lack time. You need not comment back immediately after receiving comments from your friends.Take your time and comment back when you are free.

*smiling at you* I might know a person or two on myLot who can hold up their end of an extended conversation. Usually, it doesn't matter what the original topic was about, either. (Just like in a conversation in person, topics can slide into other topics easily enough and the parties involved in the discussion may enjoy talking to each other enough to keep the conversation going from topic to topic and from discussion to discussion.)
I really enjoy those long rambling discussions. I hope you do, too!
Actually, I start discussions so rarely that my friends no longer check to see if I've written a new one. (I believe I have written 50 discussion starters in about 4 years. So it is understandable that they no longer expect to find anything new started by me.)
I spend most of my time talking to people I enjoy on their discussions or sometimes, on someone else's discussions rather than on my own discussions.

Yes, that's true...
Fair enough, then... We can just keep doing what we've been doing, dear lady!
