WATERBUFFALO-skinned

I and my sister are watching an afternoon action-drama series right now. I prepared 2 mugs of hot coffee for each of us, and I also brought out 2 packs of magic cheese-flavored biscuits to enjoy our TV watching.
Suddenly, my sister started slapping her legs. I asked her why. She said she feels some small insects flying and landing in her legs, and biting her. I told her “I don’t feel anything”.
Maybe she is too OCD about anything she feels. So I kidded that “I don’t feel any bites because “I am carabao-thick-skinned”. We laughed at what I said.
The carabao is our national animal. Although the word is not common to other countries, it is sometimes referred to as “water buffalo”.

@ridingbet My blood group is 0- (zero negative), I can donate to all groups, I am only compatible with the same group. One of my cousin has the same and the mosquitoes also bite her as much as they bite me.

my skin is not dry or hard that the mosquito sting won't penetrate into. but i feel i am avoided by mosquitoes if i am near my sister.

It is okay to have a skin as thick as the carabao's but please refuse the horns.

or maybe the sensitivity of your skin is heightened that for every buzzing of a mosquito, you can feel the presence of the blood-sucker.
