Hello everyone.
We are currently having a heavy downpour of rain. We are under Red Alert which means there is a continuous rain that can last 30 minutes to 2 hours and there can be severe flooding.
In the city where I grew up, it has been flooding since this afternoon according to my old neighbors. I hope that the rain will end soon but according to the weather bureau the tropical storm and the tropical depression is the one responsible for making this rain.
Stay safe everyone.
Have a blessed day.

@rakski
As long as it does not flood and we have a river across the road from us that does flood every so often.

@hereandthere oh thank God. When I used to live in Caloocan, there are times the flood gets inside our house.

@rakski i am watching the weekend news on TVP, and the flood waters in Marikina is so vast, though they announced it is slowly receding.

@ridingbet yes, the water level there can easily rise if the rain continuously pour down heavily.

I guess we are staying in the same place. Aug 11 rains was a different one since it never stopped pouring down. In a matter of several hours the river started to overflow and lots have been displaced because of that heavy downpour. Lucky me, I am living in a mid rise condo and the place also is seldom flooded so we did not feel the wrath of the downpour and just heard about it on the news.

We have had a drought where I live. In other parts of the country, in the south, there has been too much rain.
