No, that's not really John Wayne

Including in the evening at the Prairie Rose Ranch was a chance to go through the Hopalong Cassidy Movie Museum. I think I got the name right. There was memorabilia from many silver screen cowboys, and girls.
John Wayne is one of my husband's favorites.
In my image is a nearly life sized cardboard cutout of "The Duke".

This museum said that the first "cowboy movie" was filmed by Thomas Edison and lasted about a minute. There were things about silent movies as well. Loved getting out.

I think I did well not to get the glare. Looking at my picture, I am pleased. Yes, you might accidentally turn around and talk to him a while.

@GardenGerty Sometimes it's impossible to take a photo without the glare. Sometimes it's just in one corner and I can crop it out.

Hubby owns a million movies his sister has given him over the years. I guess he got his interest in movies by trading tickets for football games he was in with a friend who was in the movies. It is kind of interesting to see how he got his foot in the door.

@JohnRoberts you would have really liked all the memorabilia. There were a couple of places where they were showing old black and white westerns as well.
