Off And Running Again

Well, as the job demands, I shall be off and running again shortly. Back to Wisconsin. Trying to drum up additional sales and business. Oh, the life of a salesman.
The only plus of this job is that most of the people I go to see are already buying customers, and so it's just a good opportunity to touch base personally with them and make them feel important.
It's a plus as well that I am in business to business sales, and so I am selling something the customer already needs.
Concrete mixer truck parts and concrete batch plant parts.
Sucks to be stuck in hotels, but at the same time I do admit to being quite behind on MyLot, so I can kill some of the boredom by at least spending some time here catching up.

If I were a salesman, I would have done a bad job. I have no talent for that.

The time you spend is your own time and not being timed when in the office. You can start late or end late it all depends on you when you are in the field doing sales. When you are done with your deals you can now relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Being on the admin side of things there are times that you wished you were on the other side of the business where you are on the forefront of what the business is selling and you are the one getting the money for the company.

The idea of being a salesperson has always interests me. I could never do it, but the odd things people sell and such for companies and someone has to find clients to sell those things to, it is just so interesting to me. There is a job for everything.
