It Just All Depends

The person who arranges for substitute paras throughout the district came to see me at work yesterday.
How much I will be working will all depend on how much I want to work. There are lots of schools and very few substitutes.
Some students and placements will require specialized training. They will pay me for that.
I really do not want a full time job.
Perhaps they can clone me.

Full title is paraprofessional. I have not had enough training to become a teacher, but I have training and experience helping students with physical, mental or behavioral needs so that they can stay in the classroom and learn.

Any thoughts of going on a full fledge training so that you can become a teacher?

In some situations it would be tough. This placement, although it is a bit of a drive, has SO FAR been pretty easy. The honeymoon is not over.

Well, I am just a para. Sometimes those are more needed, because there are often more than one to a class.

It's good that you can control how much you wish to work.

I do enjoy meeting the new kids. I just really would like to be retired, and bored.
