Can we still know if the child is lying?

I can't believe that children now can lie without even blinking their eyes.
I've seen children who can lie with a courage and truly, they portray their act really well.
Sometimes the good ones become the victim of their villainous act because the good child didn't know how to defend themselves within an argument while the villain child easily escapes the verdict that they deserve.

because today we are exposed to many things from many sources, not just parents/home and teachers/school. it's actually scary they seem to have no concept of right and wrong, of actions and their consequences, and it's okay to tell everyone about it when they get away with small and big things.

It is not the fault of the children it is how they are raised. If parents do things right then they should tell their children that it is wrong to lie.

So true but some parents are even proud of their children lie's escaping act and even calling their child amazing because they know how to handle a situation. I think they are right in a way because as I've observed those kinds of kids, those who are bully becomes more successful than those who don't. Well, just my observation but I will never raise my child like that. Better to be poor but with dignity.

I can relate to what you said. I have 3 nieces who lives behind my house with their parents. I know when they lied because they couldn't see straight to my eyes. They know that with me, their is always consequences of their wrong doing. With their parents, they usually can get away with it. That is I think the upbringing of the parents.
