I just came back from a work-related trip in Sacramento. So I just took my usual spinner luggage and my company-issued backpack as I have to bring my laptop with me. Unfortunately, the issued laptop backpack does not have a trolley sleeve. So since I cannot put my backpack on top of my luggage, I have to carry it around on my back. Now that I am back, I am paying for it. My back still hurts and I think my neck is still sore from all that weight.
Next time I have to travel, I will not bring that backpack again. I will just use my personal backpack that has a trolley sleeve.

When I was a young backpacker I carried a 20 kilo backpack very easily. Now I am 46 years old I take a much less heavy backpack especially if I take a trip on a budget airline. A backache is really horrible so I hope it goes away soon. It is hard to for me to push my son's wheelchair and bring along a hand luggage sized suitcase. If my backpack is too heavy then it is uncomfortable.
