Pandora or Spotify?

I have a free account from Pandora for my listening needs. I got tired of skipping and having a limit to songs that I can skip though, so for a while I quit using it. Then I noticed that there is another internet radio provider that is as popular as Pandora, and that is Spotify. Similarly, Spotify has a free and paid account. A paid account gives you ad free music streaming and the capability to download and save music. One thing that I noticed about Spotify is it seems to not have any limit to the number of songs that I can skip. I have only been using Spotify for two days now, so I cannot really say for certain if this is better than Pandora. For those of you who use either or both, which one do you prefer and why?

I got tired of Napster/Rhapsody/Napster, so I use Spotify and really like it.

I have never tried Napster. Is it also a similar free internet radio account?

I have been using Spotify for almost 2 years now. It's a great companion for long road trips.

I use Amazon prime music. It seems to have a slightly lesser selection of music, but is good enough. I have an Amazon prime membership.

I also have Amazon prime. I mainly used it for Audible and other stuff that we order, but not for music or movies. Maybe I should check it out since I am already paying for it anyway.

I have an Echo Dot 2 and I can link it with Pandora and Spotify to listen to the music. It seems that I need to pay for Spotify so that I can use it. Pandora can offer a free account and I try it. It works very well. The free account is already good enough for me. So I like Pandora much more.

@Raine38 Since I haven't tried other apps. So I still think Pandora is fine for me

I have used Pandora longer than Spotify, but I remember liking Pandora so much back then. Now with lots of other choices and competition I am unsure if I would remain loyal or make the switch.

I only have Apple Music and Spotify. Don't know if pandora is available here but never used it. I prefer Spotify though.

@toniganzon Really? I thought it should be available there, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe Amazon? iTunes and the Apple Store can be another option but unlike Pandora it is not an internet radio.

I think as an internet radio, Pandora should be available there.

I have been using Spotify and really enjoy it! I like the search feature for artists, the ability to make playlists, and the like/dislike feature. I am sure Pandora is also good I just never tried that one and as you mentioned, many pluses with Spotify!
