This just in from the Weather Network. I give this as a heads up for all of the mylotters who are suffering heat exhaustion and hope for a break in the heat...we are THIS CLOSE!!

The foothills of the Rockies are in Alberta, west of Calgary. It always snows there early.

I could use some of that white stuff about now! Sadly, we don't usually even see a flake until Dec. and sometimes Feb.

We don't get snow here and the most extreme weather we ever had was heavy rains, super typhoons, and extreme heat.

that's why i'm in awe of those from here that tough it out and eventually adapt to really cold countries. i'm used to equal night and day.

@hereandthere I guess having equal nights and days makes the Philippines exempt from Daylight Savings Time.
