Oops! I broke the rules!

I joined myLot over a year ago. I haven't been active here consistently. Last night I posted something but I got only two responses after 12 hours, which is not the norm. After I posted it, I immediately got a response. Then I decided to add a link for something I wrote which was posted elsewhere. Then I got no responses at all. I only got one more after I removed the link. I reviewed the guidelines for posting here, and I realized that I broke one of the rules! It was truly an innocent oversight, but I'm so glad I checked. (I decided to remove the entire post.) So this is not only a confession, but a reminder to others who might not remember everything they read when they first joined myLot. When in doubt, read the instructions!
