Violating an Ordinance

I just read an article on Fox46 news, The title of it is "Profanity could cost you $500 at Myrtle Beach A person that uses such profanity that make provoke a violent reaction out of another person, has violated the ordinance, according to the article. It says that a person can be fined and/or locked up. The first thing that ran through my mind was "look out next summer then, there will be a lot of people locked up or fined" Some of these country boys around here. and some city folk too, can't even make a sentence without trowing a cuss word in there! lol
A dirty mind may be a terrible thing to waste, but a dirty mouth could cost if you're visiting Myrtle Beach.

I guess it could also extend to people there playing music that includes profanities.

My son and I were just talking about this, I think this is kind of dumb. Everyone knows that there are cases that people get mad enough to say things even without profanity that could provoke the other person. So what do they do in that case!

@sweetashoney And then, of course, there are people who suffer from Tourette's Syndrome. Plus, law enforcement are not always above using profanities themselves.
