My hands are very cold!

I woke up from my nap with a too warm body and very cold hands. I soon discovered the reason. Leticia had continued cleaning the floor and every single window and door of the house are open to let the floor dry. The floor will have to dry with the cold wind: the day is absolutely chilly. I had gone to sleep with my hands over the blankets and the hands are now frozen. I am thawing them writing here. The keyboard should help. I have to do some kitchen work later on, but I will not touch a sharp knife with dumb hands. Do you have very cold hands once in a while? How do you warm them?

I have cold hands when I have a panic attack. I just wait and they are warm again. If not I use warm water. I try a massage.

I have only had a panic attack once in my life and I would not want another one ever. I will try warm water after a coffee.

I suffer from Raynaud's syndrome, so I certainly know all about having frozen hands 365 days a year.

The only times my hands got cold was when I worked at the chicken plant. I use to warm my hands up in a pale of warm water.

In winter I sometimes wear gloves that are quite biggish so they are not tight and they warm my hands in a jiffy. Hope you are okay now.

My daughter gave me some electric mitts but I don´t know where I placed them. They are wonderful to keep my hands warm and watch TV.

@lovinangelsinstead21 You have to be seated or in bed to use them.

@marguicha Never heard of those and I am quite happy with mine and I only wear them for a few minutes to get the cold out of my hands.

@amadeo I have problems now when I have blood tests. Chemotherapy makes artery and vein walls thick so they have to use a very thin needle and a specially trained nurse.

I feel the chill more in my neck and shoulders, rather than in my hands. I try to keep my hands under the covers when sleeping. It is winter for you, correct?

Sometimes running them under a hot tap helps bring the warmth back.

yes, most of the time. I always have panic attacks. Just last night, I woke up having palpitations. I always get scared without any reasons. I usually deal with it by drinking a warm water with lemon and pure honey.
