A few days ago, I received a friend request on Facebook. The woman who sent me is a foreign lady, maybe older than me. I do not know her, so I sent her a message on chat, asking her if we are friends here in this site.
She had just ‘seen’ my message and did not respond again. I then checked on the lady’s account/ page on Facebook and I do not know anybody among her other friends.
Although I have a few foreign friends, there is no interaction between me and the foreign friends. One here I believe is not very active, but we are friends. I have some too from Bubblews, and we do not have communication if at all.
I just wanted the lady to respond to me because if she is a friend in this site, I might think about affirming her friend request.
Do you get friend requests from this site on Facebook?

That's really strange. But sure, there are a lot of pushy people whose gonna ask you to join sites they are in and won't stop until you do.lol.

i think you are commenting on @JustBhem's response to the discussion, am i right? this lady who friend-requested me i believe is not into asking me to join sites. she is a family woman, but is not a friend to some of my colleagues in USA, no common friend so to speak

I don't give my facebook account to any stranger. The only requests I get are from relatives or the people from my hometown who knows my family. None from mylot.

actually, i am quite surprised how the lady friend-requested me. it is because my Facebook account is an anagram of my name and it is difficult to discover. that is why i have few friends only-my colleagues, my friends from the hospital where i worked from, and my family circle. even students, i don't accept their friend requests, unless they are already board passers and working like me.

I got so many friend request on facebook but not always i confirm them. Those that account name is alias or not name including those who usually on online selling and networking I ignore them.

there are so many trolls on Facebook, and unreal accounts as well. when i read posts about actors and actresses, and they are bullied by some netizens, it is more possible that the bullies are trolls.

I did get from someone here and I explained that I have certain friends on facebook that feel the same way I do and mostly Jewish ones that feel about Israel as I do or they live here too.

Yes, and he is so annoying asking me to send him a friend request and keep pushing me to join some other sites too. I wanted to block him but I'm not that type of person who blocks people so I will ignore him the next time he will message me.

if i know a foreign person, or the foreign person is a friend of a friend, i still do not accept their request.
