That pinched nerve in my right shoulder blade was quite painful. I quickly went on a searching spree and came across this video clip that has some physiotherapy suggestions.
I found that 30 second exercise pretty easy and that nerve is now behaving.
I cannot praise enough what physiotherapy does to our nerves and muscles.
When I had that ghastly accident I was introduced to physiotherapy. I still do a few exercises to strengthen my leg muscles.
Many shoulder and neck conditions are caused from fixations/lack of motion from the shoulder blades. The subscapularis muscle is one of the rotator cuff musc...

So it actually worked? You went from terrible pain to great relief in 30 seconds? How is the shoulder now?

The nerve must have got caught up and yes physiotherapy does that. It is just putting it back in the right place. There are situations where one needs to practice it for many days such as strengthening muscles
You can open that link and see how easy it is

@allknowing I don't have any back problems at this time but it's worth a try if I develop a problem. I will keep this in mind.

@1hopefulman I am not sure if this exercise suits back pain but do not worry you will find scores of videos that will help you. I hope however you will never have a need for that

It only started yesterday and with that 30 second exercise that nerve was back where it belonged. Physiotherapy is a wonderful way to look after our muscles and nerves

@allknowing This is what I always try first, I avoid more invasive procedures when possible.

Glad that it helped you. I wish we had access to this stuff years ago. I know a few older people that might not have needed to be on pain pills. My mom was one, she had a pinched nerve in her back.

I was surprised myself that it took me just one session to get that nerve to behave

Physiotherapy does wonders. That should be the first approach.

I have full trust in what we find there but we have to be selective.
