Possible changes, we'll see

Tomorrow we will see the urologist (kidney doctor) for my husband. He is going to have a renal scan. I think they are looking for stones.
Tomorrow, after the doctor's appointment, if all goes well I have a phone call to make.
Today I got a call about doing a long term substitution in my former classroom. One of the new paraprofessionals is no longer working for the special ed coop. Not sure if she quit or was fired. I told them I actually might want the job back.
I had a few reasons for not going back this year. One was my husband's health, one was I was horribly tied up in August. Honestly I did not know the other two paras from last year were not coming back, and I did not feel positive about working with them, so that was a reason as well.
So I may not be here for long days again. I may go work. Hubby wants me to. Honestly, I get paid a lot better on contract that I do substituting, so it seems like a plan to me.

@bunnybon7 And the more doctors you add in, the worse it becomes.

It will still come down to what we learn at the doctor's office.

I hope the scans don't show anything bad.
Goodluck with the job, if you do it .

I am disappointed as they did not seem to plan to read the scans as quickly as I thought. Meanwhile, he is in pain again. I bet we go back today. I am going to guess he has stones.

I told hubby that if I go back to work it will likely be both this year and next, with the plan of getting the house shaped up for all the things we need, now that we found someone who will do the work.

There will be positive things about me having a job, for sure.

Even though we won't be seeing you here as often when you get the job, we know you are in a better place and we know you will come here when you have the time to spare. Go and take the job, you deserve that.

I will just have to have a different routine. It will not be too bad once it is winter.

I hope, whatever you ultimately decide, that you will enjoy it. I those other Para's are gone, then perhaps things will run a lot more smoothly.

If I take the job I will see the year out. Sue, my supervisor has talked about only one more year after this, when E moves on to middle school. She originally took the job because no one wanted to teach him.

I hope so too about the doctor. It seems that the more doctors you get involved, the more confusing things get.
