This word is Greek in origin.
I've experienced a metanoia in my life recently.
It's regarding a close family relationship.
I don't want to share personal details, but I'll just say that I had to take a firm stand about some issues. It's the first time I've really insisted that the person respect my boundaries. I let him know that our relationship will be ended if he will not honor my wishes.
This has been a difficult change of heart and mind for me, but one that I've needed to make for a very long time. Sometimes the most painful life decisions are also the most courageous and for the best!
Have you experienced a metanoia?
