Silliest Thought Ever

I just heard the sirens of a rescue truck and ambulance go past. I had the silliest thought. Does anybody ever wonder if rescue is coming for them? Like they think they are sitting here typing but they are on the floor or something. What is the goofiest thought you remember having? Was it ever for you?

My silliest thought is wondering if I remembered my car keys when I'm already driving to my destination. A couple of days ago I wondered if I had remembered to send the elevator down for a friend at the Y when I hadn't taken it up yet myself. I was thinking ahead.

It is so easy to become distracted. It can be funny sometimes.

@just4him Sometimes, I answered a post on the wrong page. They are probably ready to lock me up somewhere safe.

We almost never hear them, the only time I did, it was for someone we knew who had a heart attack.

@akalinus I only remember that time. It's very quiet here.

@LadyDuck I wish it was quieter here. It is a very noisy place and sirens are upsetting.

If we hear them out here, they coming from someone we know. There just aren't that many people back in this neck of the woods. Never wondered if they were coming for me.

yeah I always think that, or if it is coming for my neighbor.

It often is for one of my neighbors. I don't know where my silly thought came from.

I haven't really thought about this. I do have plenty of goofy thoughts.

I wonder if everyone does or if we are just special.

@akalinus I'd like to think we're special but somehow I doubt we are.

@JudyEv I wasn't thinking of special in a good way so it is good that we are not.

haha Nope but I often think it may be someone setting fire in these units.

We did have an arsonist in our park a few years ago. There was a big investigation and a meeting that everyone attended. At least four places were set afire. The main suspect was a woman who was fighting with her neighbors but it was never proven.

@Courage7 That happens too. I knew a kid who burned down a garage.

Maybe some driver was texting while driving, he had the accident, then kept typing about it... I hope not. It is hard not to look at the mobile phone when having so much information in it: sms, whatsapp, gps tracking, phone calls, youtube... Mobile can be helpful but can also be a big distraction, and distruction.

I wish people would put the phone down while driving. I don't know what is so important that you have to keep looking at it.

I do too. It keeps us sane, maybe. I hope the wreck was not too bad. They are never much fun.

Whenever I hear sirens from our home,I thought it could be an ambulance or a fire truck.

Yes, it could be because of an illness or accident, a fire, or a wreck.
