It was a sunny Wednesday morning and now it is turning gloomy because the nimbus clouds are forming up in the skies. My sister was talking loud about our gutter that may be clogged with dry leaves that might have caused some leaking rain water flowing down. She should tell me point blank, because she cannot climb up. I really waited for her to tell me to go up, but it was her self-righteousness when she positioned the ladder in our garage. I then spoke up and told her that ‘i will go up to clean the gutter’, to which she immediately agreed. So, up i went. I expected her to be near the ladder so i can ask what i need. It took me 10 minutes to call her name, to no avail. When i was looking out, she shouted; she was at the other side of the fence. She left me. So i told her to ‘give me 2 plastic bags and the plastic bag of bread which i will use to hand-collect the dry leaves and soil in the gutter’. She gave me. When i was about to descend, i called her again to hold the ladder. I am sweating profusely because it is hard to pick up the soil and put them in the plastic bag;besides, i did not don a baseball cap. Sweat from forehead, philtrum, neck… that is why i drink much cold water now. Climbing up the roof is fun because i get to see the neighbors’ roofs as well. But are you agoraphobic?
