Today we were short a person in our classroom, and two other people in the school without subs.
One of the new music teachers is getting sick.
One was sick last Friday.
Kids are dropping like flies.
I woke up at 3 a.m. with a headache.
I laid in bed until 5.
We tried to shop after work, but we were both too tired.
On a positive note, hubby fixed a leaky faucet I have been after him to fix for more than two years. He had never fixed a faucet before. This is the really old kind.
I will try to get some time in in the morning.

Yep, that was a big surprise. I had been asking for a long time. The "kits" at Wal Mart had like forty-five different pieces, of which we needed two. But it was only $2.97 as compared to $75 per hour for a plumber.

I think it is not having fresh air circulating in the building at school and the pollens and molds and such. I hope you feel better soon.

I suspect this school building has mold. I have had serious respiratory illness all year both years I worked there in the past.

I hope that you are all feeling better ! As far as my work, I'm the one that's out "sick". Need to wait until my doctor's office is open again to get some papers (his office is only open two days a week, I'm guessing because the rest of the time he's off doing surgery somewhere).

I hope you get your paperwork done soon. Sounds like your doctor is in high demand.

Oh, my sounds like a virus going around. Hope you feel better soon. I was kind of tired this afternoon and took a pretty long nap.

I think napping can go a long way toward keeping you healthy.

School just opened in Canada last week, my kids are grown and I stay in most of the time just painting but i do get the YMCA Monday to Friday to get some exercises. My painting has exploded and keeps me so busy I even can't believe it but the money is great so I'm complaining.

I have seen your paintings, a few, anyway. I wish I was that talented.

I agree. The kids are mobile all over the school and they touch everything. Then the germs also seem to travel in the heating and cooling systems.

Get some sleep, you deserve it.

I have been going to bed really early. I am just exhausted. I did not get respiratory crud, though. I got stomach crud. . . that is new for us this year.
