I absolutely forgot about it until Mom and my auntie's decided to visit the cemetery. I usually visit on the first day of November even thought it's all saint's day and there's so many people then.
Do you visit your dead family members on their death anniversary or pray or none at all?

When I was a kid, we used to visit my "grandparents" at the cemetery at least twice a year . . . but it was far away - and long story, but my mother decided we will no longer go. Every few years there is a memorial for them at a temple and we all go and reunite with the rest of my mom's side of the family. There is also a cemetery plot for my dad's side of the family (though most people are still in Japan) - my aunt is there - and honestly I can't remember a time when any of us visited - I think we should go.

@Letranknight2015 I know there are a lot of Phil families here that cannot make it over to the Phils for All Saints Day (is that the one where families gather and feast at the cemetery?).

What snacks? We always have food and we share our food with other relatives. Sometimes we have dinner there.
