"Count Your Change before Leaving"

This reminders, often or not can be seen at payment counters. If you are paying your bills or purchases in cash, probably you will always have that exchange for you except if you’re paying the exact amount. I think it’s not always the case because there are still those who came back after leaving and complain because they are not receiving the right amount. Do you always count your change before leaving at payment counters?

Of course one has to count twice, thrice as many times as possible so there will be no problem.

This is to be fair to both parties if there would be discrepancy about the change.

I understand why it is a good idea to check change before you leave so nobody can accuse you of lying.Though I never check I just take the money and put it in my pocket so I could of lost loads.Though most of the time I use card so don’t have that problem.

@ZedSmart I’ve never bothered checking so never made a complaint.

You are right. It's a bit inconvenient especially if the complaint was made after. There's no problem if you use card.

The wisest thing to do. Actually, some people do this to scam the cashier. They would pretend they're receiving a wrong change especially if the cashier is busy. I witness incident like this. That's why it should be done immediately in sense of fairness.

@ZedSmart I agree. Fairness from both the ends is really crucial when we go in the market .
