There’s WORM in Your Salad…

My apology and excuses to all who might taking their meals this time. You ordered salad in resto. In the middle of your meal, suddenly you found a worm in one of the vegetable, fruit or leaf slices. It’s neither appealing nor funny. What would be your reaction? Sometimes, we encountered similar or different mistakes while dining outside. While others resolved it immediately with the management (with replacement and freebie as courtesy) there are others who brought their experience to their social media accounts or even in public social pages even if they’re already compensated by the mistake drawing mixed reactions from its readers.

Ha ha. When you don't notice it. I think we already eat those insects without being notice. Others are just very meticulous. It's normal with fruits and vegetable.

I will take a photo of it and will call the attention of the manager to let them know of the situation.

You are right. We should directly talk to the manager or staff and settle the situation. No need to create a scene I supposed.

well according to some those kind of worms are clean because they only eat the leaves of the veggies and not other stuff and it is not found in soil.

You are right. It's not alarming for me considering that they're on the fruit or veggie.

Just like Rakski, I will call the attention of the manager and tell him/her what I have found on my salad. But I won't post it to social media anymore.

I wouldn't do it too especially if it was already resolved.
