Be patient, Vicki!

I'm usually a fairly patient person. My husband is the one who will go mad if he has to wait for someone. Yesterday I sold a garden cart on the local FB yardsale and the buyer said she would pick it up today. Well, I waited and I waited. I wanted to take a nap, but no, she might call and be on her way here. I wanted to take a walk. Had to put that off also. Wanted to change into some old, comfy shorts, but her older father might be coming with her, so it's jeans and a top until they get here. Just got a message that they should be here in another thirty minutes...I sure hope so. They've messed with half my Sunday afternoon and it's not over yet. This is why I absolutely hate to sell anything on line unless it's something I can mail. This cart is heavy, so it's pick up only. I'm really trying to be my usual patient self. But it's hard. Do you ever have trouble being patient?

Yes, I have had the same experience. It's like waiting for someone to call you back and you don't want to miss their call. Your unable to do anything because your at the other person's time not yours. At least with shipping you have more control.

I was going to give her a little longer, then go on the the next person in line who wanted it. She did show up on time and bought it, so at least, no more waiting.

I can understand your annoyance. Some people can't seem to name a time or if they do they can't stick to it.

I've had this happen before, but the lady did show up on time when I finally got up with her. She was very nice, but glad it's over.

I think even the most patient person has trouble at times.

Yes I was wanting to sell a few things too as I am moving but no way. I had so much trouble with people before doing that not showing up and all, its a pain. I am sorry this is happening to you.

The older I get, the more impatient I get.
