On our way to the endurance ride at Collie in Western Australia, we passed through a tiny settlement called Louden. It is quite close to Gnomesville which I’ve written about several times and on the opposite side of the road to the store is Frog Hollow which sports a collection of frogs of all sorts and sizes. If you want to read more about these cute places, just type Gnomesville or Frog Hollow into the search section at the top right of the page. The store at Louden has new owners and in the outdoor seating area they have two topiary vehicles. I’ve been waiting for a while to take a photo of these and yesterday was my chance. Don’t you think it’s cute?

Pretty prickly I think! I'd be sitting down very carefully.

@JudyEv That is a really cool picture. Why did they put all that on the car?

It is just shrubs that have been pruned so that they look like a car It's called topiary. Here is one that was in a roundabout in France. It has been pruned to look like a sheep.

I do not know what to say, it would be cute without those too normal wheels.

@rakski Yes it will smell fresh that's for sure. We have a sunroof in our car but it is sometimes too hot with it open.

It looks good doesn't it? The truck needs a bit more growth to fill it in properly.

They usually make animals out of these shrubs. A car might be a bit easier.

That topiary made me laugh! What a brilliant idea. It's certainly not something you're going to see every day, especially as it relates to topiaries.

No, very informal but it makes people smile. You don't expect it out in the backblocks.

Vroom, Vroom! That is very cute! I truly love the topiary in Florida. Some are huge and create driveway entrances, just perfect for that car!

With the added wheels the shrub looks like it's ready to "hit the road."

It is cute isn't it? They are trying really hard to get a bit more business and little things like this and Frog Hollow sometimes help.

The car owners have taken eco-friendly "go green" with your car quite literally. lol.
