I made a discussion this morning about why I was not able to watch the premiere episode of the newest medical-oriented New Amsterdam at 10PM. Prior to that, I watched the latest episode of a reality show about Asia’s next top models, though I did not finish it and didn’t know who was eliminated because I slept.
When I checked on what was shown on Fox Life this morning, they were replaying the reality show, so I sat down and watched it; and also one episode of The Good Doctor. Because of that, I deleted that discussion because the post dealt about the same topic, and it was already resolved this morning.
On what circumstances do you voluntarily delete your own discussions? Do you just maintain it posted even though it has not yet received likes and comments after a couple of hours of posting?

for me, i leave my discussions as they are. sometimes other users come across my older posts and they comment, to which i also respond.

@AngelizaQT i agree with you. i also notice that when i scroll down, the pictures attached to the discussions are not found, in thumbnails, but when the discussions are opened, the pictures appear.

I have only recently returned to MyLot after being completely silent for about 5 months. I have tracked all the additions to my payments in the interim and found that in every month there were comments and views on my discussions even though I had not participated in any during that time. In other words, it pays to keep all the old stuff going!

yes, even when our notifications are updated weekly, and the admin removes notifications that are a week old, we still can browse over our previous posts and see others have left their comments and responses.

I don't delete them. I had one discussion that was missing. I asked Alex and never got response as to why it was removed.

@ridingbet That is what I want too. But it is okay, as long as the admin won't delete my account. I am good.

@jobelbojel yes it is better to delete a discussion than to permanently delete an account, just like one male Asian who cannot come back anymore

deleted discussions may be done by us or the admin. but for me, if one of my discussions are deleted by the admin, i should know right away if i somehow violated one of their rules.

as what a discussion i read mentions, deleting discussions does not affect our earnings, unlike in bubblews that the banks decrease once we remove posts.

right, my lady. and there is one discussion that is similar to your 'heavy bag'. my response to that discussion can be my response to the user's discussion too.

maybe your discussion was about landmarks or milestones, anniversaries? i think there are some topics that might not get the admin's nod of approval for posting.

i also deleted about 2 discussions because it has been 2 hours and still it did not have likes or comments; but reading them, i also noticed it had no impact and they were somewhat senseless, so i deleted them.
the discussion prior to this, i deleted because i watched the series that i mentioned i did not.

So far, I don't care if I only have 2 likes or 2 respond to my discussion, it also adds cents to my bank.

oh yes. the deleted discussion mentions Ryan Eggold, and i even misspelled his surname as Egghold. that is why today, the TV channel is stationed at FoxLife, hoping to watch the replay of the 2nd season premier episode of The Good Doctor and New Amsterdam.
